Total Renovation of an Historic Home
Total renovation by the "A" Team! Architect is Glenn Keyes, Engineer is Eddie Porcher with Stantec, Builder is Todd Poore. This home was gutted to the studs walls, the foundation walls were repaired & repointed, the crawl space sealed & dehumidified & then the fun began! EXTERIOR: In addition to the above, all new water, gas & waste lines. The entire slate roof was removed, the substrate repaired & sealed, & the gorgeous salvaged slate re-installed. The new construction roof (over dining & master bath) is standing seam copper. There is off street parking, accessed by a new driveway with a new foundation, brick edging & entry columns. The yard was professionally designed & landscaped & includes an irrigation system with timer, lighting with timer & override, & fountain. INTERIOR: The original windows have been repaired & resealed. Where there are new windows they are Marvin, insulated glass, DP rated & have impact glass where operable shutters were not feasible. Operable shutters were installed where feasible. There are new, walnut floors throughout the living areas, with marble floors in the baths and showers. The countertops & back splash in the kitchen are marble, as well as both full baths. NEW APPLIANCES: Sub Zero Refrigerator & separate Two Drawer Freezer. Wolf brand Gas Cook Top, Wall Oven & Microwave, Bosch Dishwasher,Dacor Exhaust Fan, Front Loading Whirlpool Washer & Dryer, the Duet Series. The plumbing fixtures are all new & are Kohler & Grohe.
